Hello and welcome!
My name is Syd and I am a Co-Founder and Director of Sustainability for Relief Retailers! I am grateful to be a part of a network of kind, positive collaborators.
SociallyDistant is a movement. We may not be physically, socially near, but we are closer than we realize. Today, we are more interconnected than ever before with art, literature, and science literally at our fingertips. We can intentionally create a world that supports everyone and choose to be role models in our local communities. We can consciously reach out to our global community and actively participate. We can be headstrong and lead with love and light, supporting ourselves while creating a livable world for future generations.
Sustainability is vital to our growth in this world and we have the choice to make a change, especially in our day to day lives. We have pushed the Earth to certain limits and we need to work together to sustain our planet. We are working diligently to create innovative alternative energy and food supply solutions to sustain our global population. The possibilities for answers to these solutions are endless! We can create global change through giving credibility to those doing the work, learn what the solutions are, and teach those around us. Good comes to us when we help each other.
It is such a JOY to kick off this blog with you all! Every week we will post here with a new topic such as the value of art, artistic movements, sustainability practices, climate issues, local and global participation, art and science communication, or our personal journeys through this process. We are sharing the good in our lives and know that POSITIVITY and JOY are what will unite us all.
